Saturday 11/29/08, Parent’s Shopping Day: Drop the kids off from 10:00 - 2:00pm so you can go get some shopping done. All attendees get to break a board and get 2 class credits. Open to friends and siblings age 4+! The event will be split by age. $20, sign up in the lobby!
Thursday 11/27/08, Thanksgiving AM Class: All ages and ranks are invited to attend our annual Thanksgiving morning class. It’s always a lot of fun and will justify some of the eating you’ll do later on. Class credit!
Thursday 11/20/08, Women’s Self-Defense Seminar “Mugger Attacks”: From 6:45 - 7:45pm, we’ll be hosting a free Women’s Self-Defense seminar taught by 2nd degree Black Belt Kayla Fritz. Kayla will teach defenses against common mugger attacks which typically come from behind. This seminar is open to all women high school age and up. You do not have to be a student to attend!
Sunday 11/16/08, Seminar with Royce Gracie: Royce will be at Northstar from 10-12noon teaching a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu seminar. SEMINAR IS OPEN TO RGJJ STUDENTS ONLY!

10/22/08 - 10/25/08, F.I.G.H.T. Certification: Master McShane spent 4 days in Davie, Florida getting certified as an Instructor in F.I.G.H.T. Training with Haganah founder Mike Lee Kanarek, Master McShane learned hand-to-hand combat strategies as well as gun and knife defenses. More info at Fight2survive.com.
